Spiced Orange Drink Mix

I always make a mix of this each fall.  It is great to have for cold mornings through the winter for an alternative to hot cocoa or apple cider packets.  It goes a long way since it only takes 1 tsp for each cup and I feel good knowing it gives us lots of vitamin C.  It also is a great home remedy for a sore throat which we all fight some time during the winter months.

Go ahead - make a mix so you can curl up with a warm cup and read a fun book or magazine for just a few minutes - or maybe just spend a few minutes reading my blog.


Spiced Orange Drink Mix
2 cups Tang orange drink mix 
⅓ cup presweetened lemonade powder 

1 tsp cinnamon
½ tsp cloves

1 ⅓ cups sugar


Combine all ingredients.  Store in an airtight container.  Add 1–2 tsp of Spiced Orange Drink Mix to one cup of hot water.
